1 | Acceptance of conditions
The present conditions govern the sale of all items presented on the site “Cristal-Porcelaine.com” by La Cristallerie Paradis.
The sole act of making an order or accepting an offer from the merchant indicates unreserved acceptance of the present general conditions.
All orders made on “Cristallerie-Paradis.com” are intended for the personal use of customers, and customers or recipients of the products are prohibited from any partial or total resale of the products.
2 | Products
«Cristal-Porcelaine.com» is a commercial site dedicated to the Internet sale of items for the table, cooking and home decoration.
The items visible on the site are available until the stock has been depleted. Consequently, in no case does “Cristal-Porcelaine.com” guarantee the availability of items on sale during a given period. Any claim by the customer regarding the order or delivery of an unavailable item will be considered null and void.
However, if there is an exceptionally long shipment delay, notably on the part of our suppliers, “Cristallerie-paradis.com" agrees to send an email notification to all customers who have placed an order and advise them of the expected delay.
The photographs illustrating the products will not be entered into the contractual field. If errors are introduced, they will not be the responsibility of “Cristallerie-paradis.com” in any case.
3 | Ordering
The present general conditions are effective from the date of the signature of the purchase order. The “double click” of the customer on the purchase order constitutes an electronic signature which has the same value as a handwritten signature between the parties. “Cristal-Porcelaine.com” confirms acceptance of the customer order at the mail address communicated in the purchase order.
“Cristal-Porcelaine.com” recommends that the customer keep a copy of this information, either on paper or electronically.
“Cristal-Porcelaine” reserves the right to cancel any customer order.
4 | Price and Taxes
The price list proposed in the "online boutique" area of our internet site www.cristallerie-paradis.com can not be combined with the "Wedding Lists" rewards that we offer.
The prices are shown in EURO and are only valid for the date shown on the customer’s purchase order. They do not take into account delivery fees added and indicated before validation of the order if the customer chose the delivery option. Orders to be sent outside the European Union are subject to the VAT of 20 %, which is already included in all of our prices.
When the delivery destination is located in a country outside the European Union, the VAT (Value-added tax) is automatically deducted before the online payment (Reduction in export tax). On the other hand, the customer will be released from import taxes and/or other customs duties or taxes at the moment the merchandise is delivered by UPS.
5 | Availability of items
The following are the normal waiting periods for preparation of items ordered:
- items in stock: 1 to 4 days.
- items out of stock: approximately 2 to 4 weeks.
According to the choice of the customer on the purchase order, products can be:
- delivered to the address indicated by the customer on the purchase order. The delivery fees are billed to the customer.
- made available in our boutique located at 17 bis rue de Paradis 75010 Paris under the name La Cristallerie Paradis. In this case, the customer will not have any delivery fees and will be informed by email or by telephone when the preparation of their order is completed. The customer can then proceed to pick up their order at the boutique, by presenting themselves and supplying a paper copy of the purchase order from our Internet site www.cristallerie-paradis.com and proof of identity. Their order will then be given to them in person.
6 | Shipment
Our shipping provider is the UPS company.
We are able to ship to the following countries: metropolitan France, Corsica, Monaco, departments and overseas territories, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark (excluding the Canary Islands), Finland, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Holland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, South Korea, Australia.
Shipment in metropolitan France, Corsica and Monaco as well as in the European countries covered by standard UPS service (delivery time scheduled for 1 to 2 working days)
For the other destinations (French overseas departments and territories, North America, Asia…), shipments are made by the UPS Express Saver service (delivery = 2 to 3 days).
Every customer can track the shipment of their order on the site www.ups.com. They will supply the preliminary information, from our customer service (tel.: 08 72 56 72 15), of the number on the packing slip (tracking number).
Delivery times depend on the destination country and are only supplied as a rough guide for the delivery of the order. Exceeding delivery time or inability to deliver an order does not warrant damages or interest.
The products will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer on the purchase order. The customer is responsible for verifying the condition of the packaging of the merchandise upon delivery, and notifying the UPS company of damages (damaged package, broken products) due to transport, as well as notifying La Cristallerie Paradis (fax n° +33(0)144790108 ) within 48 hours.
In the case of force majeure, “Cristal-Porcelaine.com” is released from its delivery obligation, such as in the case of war, riot, fire, strikes, accidents, traffic restrictions and the impossibility of procuring the item.
For availability reasons, an order might be delivered several times to the customer; the customer will only have to pay for one delivery.
7 | Returns
In accordance with article L121-16 of the consumer code, the customer has fourteen days from when the order is received to form an opinion.
In the case of exchange or reimbursement, the customer can return new item(s) in original packaging, intact, to the address indicated by mail during the process of the return. After reception of the returned item(s), reimbursement will occur within 30 days minus delivery fees and fees for the return of merchandise (which remain the responsibility of the customer), through a credit to the customer’s bank card or by bank check.
8 | Payment
Payment can be made:
- by bank card (Visa, Master Card, American Express)
- by bank check
- by bank transfer: Payment must be made at the time of the order.
The bank check can be made out to La Cristallerie Paradis and sent to the address below, accompanied with a copy of the purchase order.

An order validated by the customer will only be considered active when the bank payment centers have approved the charge. If the aforementioned centers refuse the charge, the order will be automatically canceled and the customer will be notified by email.
9 | Litigation
The sale of products on the Internet site "Cristal-Porcelaine.com" is subject to French law.
In the case of a dispute, the customer will file their complaints with:

In the absence of that, the sole jurisdiction of the city of Paris will apply.

The information collected by “Cristal-Porcelaine.com” during all customer orders is needed so that “Cristal-Porcelaine.com” and its commercial partners can process the orders. In accordance with Law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is free at any time to access, correct, oppose and suppress the data concerning them.
